Welcome to the Recruitment Gateway.

The Recruitment Gateway should be used to log all job orders for recruitment by the NRS. It may also be used for recording job orders that are being recruited locally.
Job orders submitted to the NRS for recruitment via email/telephone or other means cannot be processed and therefore will not be accepted.

The Recruitment Gateway has been designed to capture all required Job Order information in a simple but robust way to increase efficiency, improve data, and provide increased transparency in recruitment processes.

You can now complete a single job order form that is dynamic and will change depending on the information inputted. You must enter all mandatory information fields in order to progress their job order.
You will also be able to:

  • save draft job orders and return to it later if required
  • review the status of their job order directly.
  • raise an amendment or cancellation request should the circumstances change.
  • enable local approval processes.

Supports have been included throughout the Gateway to guide users when completing job orders and leveraging each functionality. A glossary has also been included to aid users. On demand training has also been developed to support all users when engaging with the Gateway. Please click here hseland to access training supports.

Please be aware that the Recruitment Gateway has not replaced the Approval to Hire process. You should still complete the Approval to Hire process prior to creating a Job Order on the Gateway. You will be advised where to capture and attach the relevant Approvals and form(s) directly on the digital Job Order form. For more information on completing the Approval to Recruit process, please click here Approval to hire forms - Staff site (hse.ie)

Data Protection
Please note that as a user of the Gateway, your data will be used to identify you as a point of contact for the job order and in the progression of job orders through the system. Only relevant data is recorded; for example, should your job order be rejected at later stage of the process, it will revert to you as you are identifiable as the creator of the job order. Data will only be shared on a strict need-to-know basis for specific purposes relating to recruitment. The HSE has legal obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 to ensure all personal data which is collected and processed is kept confidential and secure. To comply with these legal obligations, a number of technical and organisational measures have been implemented to protect the Recruitment Gateway and the data stored on the system from unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.

Accessibility
HSE accessibility guidelines were considered during the design of the Recruitment Gateway in an attempt to make the platform as accessible as possible for all. However, should you experience any issues accessing the site, please contact HR Digital for further assistance. The Help Desk can be contacted via email hrdigitalteam@hse.ie
